Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
- Provides Spanish foreign language interpreting and translation services for agency staff, community partners, and the public related to public assistance programs.
- Interprets and translates information and documentation for the agency to serve LEP (Limited English Proficiency) populations.
- Assists agency staff in the collection and analysis of data relating to public assistance programs serving LEP populations.
- Assists agency staff with conducting community outreach efforts to increase awareness of available resources offered by the agency and within the community to better serve the LEP populations.
- Assists agency staff with reviewing policy, procedures, training curriculum, technical information, etc. to enhance the agency's service provision to LEP populations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
