Forest Aide gathers and analyzes data regarding overall condition of forest tracts. May provide supervision to seasonal workers. Being a Forest Aide educates visitors on forest policies and regulations. Requires a high school diploma with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Forest Aide has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Forest School Co-Teacher
Hours: Monday-Wednesday and Friday 8:45am-12:15pm, Thursday 9:45am-1:15pm (September to May)
Site: Multiple locations. Monday and Wednesday Little Big Econ State Forest in Oviedo, Tuesday and Friday Langford Park in Orlando, Thursday UCF in Orlando (note: Monday/Wednesday location if flexible if you prefer another location)
Salary: $18-22/hr

Position Overview:
Co-Teacher responsibilities include observing and assessing class interests, planning and implementing lessons and activities that expand on current interests, and creatively documenting class lessons to showcase the progress of the students. Co-teachers will work together to create an optimal learning environment for the students.
