Cafeteria Aide

Serves all customers in the cafeteria high quality products while utilizing FOCUS values and exceptional customer services. Responsible to stocking all items in the café and keeping product fresh and full to optimize sales and customers ease of ability to purchase what they want. Ability to cut and prepare some small amounts of food items, as well as cook on occasion and assemble some intricate dishes. Ability to read recipes for knowledge of what they are serving and appropriate serving size as well. Also responsible for stocking doctors lounges, surgery lounges and helping with the occasionally need in the kitchen such as washing dishes or putting away clean pots and pans.

• Serve retail food offerings, making sure all items are proper temp and look appealing.
• Work with customers to make sure all their needs are met
• Knowledge of menu items being served
• Identify items that need to be restocked and rotated
• Take notice of what customers are looking for and anticipate their needs before they ask for help
• Portion and package desserts for resale in the café area.
• Stock doctors dining room and surgery lounge with appropriate items needed
• Restock disposable items in café for better customer service
• Clean tables in café and straighten chairs for a presentable look to seating area
• Sweep up messes and keep area clean and clear of clutter
