Fork Lift Operator operates fork lifts to stack and retrieve goods, supplies and materials. Responsible for maintaining inventory and for production area cleanliness. Being a Fork Lift Operator documents and maintains inventory records. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Fork Lift Operator typically reports to a supervisor. The Fork Lift Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. - Experience working with students and families with intensive needs (preferred)
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable
- The entry level base salary for this position is expected to be $43,056, plus highly competitive benefits, including 100% Board-paid IMRF contributions and employee-only health, dental, and term life insurance. There is a minimal employee cost for vision insurance. There are opportunities for overtime associated with this position. Additional information will be shared with the successful applicants. Additional compensation above the base is offered for those with previous successful experience. A copy of the DSP Salaries & Fringe Benefits document is attached.
