Fork Lift Operator jobs in Greenville, SC

Team member is responsible for putting together various components to safely assemble fork truck mast subassemblies and/or fork truck mast units while adhering to specified blueprints, schematics and work instructions. They verify the correct quantities of component parts and quality check completed items, and safely use a variety of hand and/or power tools and material moving equipment.

Skills and Ability:

• Basic knowledge of math and measuring functions
• Ability to utilize a variety of hand/power tools and measuring devices
• Ability to operate overhead trolley system, overhead cranes and fork truck
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and engineering notices
• Ability to read and follow safety and work instructions, procedures and policies
• Ability to work regular schedule and overtime, as required
• Ability to effectively work with coworkers in a team environment
• Ability to accurately and neatly complete required production documentation
• Demonstrated ability to consistently produce quality product.

Education and Qualifications:

Required:

• • A High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Preferred:

• Associates Degree
• Skilled Trade Certification in related area
• Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is constantly required to stand and walk, push and pull. The employee must be able to use reach with hands and arms and use hands to grasp material, operate hand tools and measuring devices. Depending on the workstation, an individual may be required to frequently lift and carry components weighing between 50 and 100 pounds.
