Job Description:

Are you passionate about painting and finishing, with a keen eye for detail and quality? Lift-A-Loft is seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other coatings to our products ensuring they meet the highest standards of appearance and durability.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers.

Select and mix paint and coatings to achieve desired colors and finishes.

Apply paint using various methods such as spraying, brushing, and rolling, ensuring even coverage and smooth finishes.

Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools in accordance with safety and maintenance procedures.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Touch up and repair painted surfaces as needed.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the painting area and storage of materials.

Assist in other areas of production or assembly as required.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions for extended periods.

Willingness to always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
