Foundation Director directs the execution of the vision, strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, and grantmaking operations that support the overall objectives of a foundation. Defines the goals and tactics for fundraising campaigns and program initiatives. Being a Foundation Director represents the foundation to the public and media to communicate its mission, values, and accomplishments. Maintains positive relationships with foundation stakeholders, including the board of directors, grantees, community leaders, donors, and prospective donors. Additionally, Foundation Director oversees grantmaking operations, including developing grant guidelines, reviewing grant applications, and managing the grant evaluation process. Manages foundation programs and initiatives that align with the foundation's mission and values. Implements systems for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the foundation's grantmaking and programs. Ensures all foundation activities comply with applicable laws, reporting requirements, and regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Foundation Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Foundation Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Summary: 

    This position is responsible for operating a Oruga/Beck l, CZM, IMTor similar drill rigs.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • • Learn and follow safety regulations
      • Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects
      • Locate underground services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work
      • Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met
      • Coordinate machine actions with other activities, position or move loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members
      •  Perform preventative maintenance as required to ensure safe and continual service of crane.
    • Supervise oiling of the drill rig.
    • Responsible for own and rigger’s compliance with company policy, safety guidelines and procedures that pertain to the drill operator’s job.
    • Remains in continual voice (radio), hand, and or communication with rigger/groundsman while operating the drill.
    • Responsible for creating an environment fostering open communications concerning safety issues.
    • Participates in safety meetings and other rigger safety programs.
    • Operates drill to hoist materials and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. 

    Requirements:

    • Follow safety regulations
      • Follow instructions and meet set standards
      • Judge distances and slopes accurately
      • Make decisions based on verifiable standards
      • Must be able to stoop, bend, and crouch and use hands, arms, and legs fully
      • Must have good vision and hearing (either naturally or with correction)

      • Work dusty or dirty surroundings
      • Pass construction equipment operator qualification testing/observation

    Education and Experience: 

    • High School Diploma preferred
      • Five years verifiable and relevant experience
