Foundation Director directs the execution of the vision, strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, and grantmaking operations that support the overall objectives of a foundation. Defines the goals and tactics for fundraising campaigns and program initiatives. Being a Foundation Director represents the foundation to the public and media to communicate its mission, values, and accomplishments. Maintains positive relationships with foundation stakeholders, including the board of directors, grantees, community leaders, donors, and prospective donors. Additionally, Foundation Director oversees grantmaking operations, including developing grant guidelines, reviewing grant applications, and managing the grant evaluation process. Manages foundation programs and initiatives that align with the foundation's mission and values. Implements systems for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the foundation's grantmaking and programs. Ensures all foundation activities comply with applicable laws, reporting requirements, and regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Foundation Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Foundation Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Position Summary: The position of a Speech Language Pathologist – Assistant provides coordinated speech therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

    Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to: 

    • Administers the speech therapy treatment plan as developed by the supervising SLP 
    • Using strong communication skills to communicate with families, SLP and staff. 
    • Attending IEP meetings when appropriate as well as perform clerical and scheduling duties 
    • Documenting students' performance, including skill targeted and type/amount of support provided and administering and scoring screenings for the interpretation by the SLP 
    • Developing and implementing activities and materials for teaching and practice of skills to address the goals of the student, per the plan developed by the supervising SLP 
    • Providing treatment through a variety of service delivery models, which may include teletherapy, in-person therapy, individual, and group therapy 
    • Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes. 
    • Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency. 
    • Promote Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care. 

     

    Experience/Requirements: 

    • Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience preferred. 
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
    • Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. 
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines. 
    • Ability to work under pressure. 
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information. 
    • Knowledge of therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. 
    • Excellent communication – verbal and written, and interpersonal skills. 
    • Responsive to requests. 
    • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance. 

     

    Education/License/Certification: 

    • Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution of higher education. 
    • Current Active State License to practice Speech Therapy in the state you are looking to work within. 

     

    Physical/Sensory Essential Functions:  

    • Ability to meet vaccination requirements of partnered school districts  
    • Requires prolonged standing and walking, some bending, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching and/or heavy lifting. 
    • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity, sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone and other equipment.
