What You'll Do: Obtain, record, and issue necessary documents and blueprints for the new job start up process. Coordinate sample production runs with production control and production departments. Ensure that sample booklets are prepared and distributed to appropriate departments prior to sample production runs. Audit sample production runs, collect and distribute sample production run data, and ensure proper disposition of sample castings. Update the new job start up tracking system and issue relevant reports as to the status of new jobs. Communicate with pattern vendors and the pattern shop as to tooling status. Utilize delay time constructively by doing housekeeping or other area improvement activities. Personal attendance record should remain in compliance with company guidelines. This list is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties as necessary. Able to work overtime as assigned.   What We Need From You: Approach work assignments in a positive manner and function as a team member.    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, one year experience preferred. Modeling using SolidWorks, Magma preferred. Experience in defect analysis and resolution. Supervise highly diversified journey work and formulate new approaches. Moderate physical effort. Able to lift up to 40 pounds if needed.
