Responsibilities

• Understanding specifics of control rods and furnace plugs. 
• Plugging and unplugging furnace. 
• Maintaining consistent metal flow to casting table throughout cast.
• Cleans trough and degasser box and changes filter. 
• Loading/unloading homogenizer pads including placing and removing spacer rails. 
• Installs/uninstalls safety rail by casting table.
• Bundles logs using tool. Remains a safe distance away from thimbles when removing skins from underneath casting table. 
• Removes skins from top of casting table.
• Operates arc welder. 
• Understands uses and differences in cones used in casting process. 

Qualifications

• 1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum forklift driving.
• Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
• Must be able to handle both large pieces and small pieces of aluminum extrusions.

The base pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth.
