What You'll Do: Reducing foundry scrap to stated objective levels. Maintaining and implementing the Operations Procedure Manual. Submitting six months objectives. Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations. Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment. Assist in implementation of total quality management system. Jointly with human resource manager and maintenance manager Establish and maintain in-plant safety programs including auditing and training. Assist in implementation of environmental programs to meet requirements of the state of North Carolina. Serve on EMS team with maintenance manager and environmental management representative working with relevant department managers, supervisors and employees to ensure all requirements of the EMS are met and maintained. Plan and review compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures. Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends. Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions.
