What You'll Be Doing
We are looking for a vigilant and detail-oriented Fraud Associate to join our team. As the Fraud Associate, you will be responsible for detecting and preventing fraudulent activities, conducting investigations, and implementing measures to safeguard the company against potential fraud risks. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our operations and protecting our customers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Review earnings withdrawal requests (related to music publishing, distribution, and other types of earnings) to ensure they are legitimate and in compliance with company policies
- Be the Subject Matter Expert that assists the Support team with inquiries from our community related to payment issues and earnings
- Monitor daily reporting feeds that identify potential fraudulent activity on the marketplace platform
- Assist with implementation of new fraud monitoring and mitigation procedures and any related software solutions
- Collect data on fraudulent activity and compile reporting to inform management
What You'll Need
- B.A. or B.S. in information technology, data analytics, accounting, business, finance, or related fields preferred.
- 1 year related experience, preferably in a software, SaaS or subscription based technology company. Music industry experience is a plus.
- Experience in identifying fraud, executing an action plan, and creating fraud reports.
- Computer proficiency with financial accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of banking operations and/or credit card fraud prevention operations is a plus.
- Experience with various accounting software is a plus.
- Ability to complete a high volume of work at a consistently high level of quality.
- Must thrive in a work environment of significant growth, development, and change.
- Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively and adjust to multiple demands.

Remote US salary range for this role is up to $61,000 yearly.
