South Central Bank, Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of a Fraud Specialist at the Operations Center in Glasgow, KY. The position of Fraud Specialist is responsible for detecting, investigating, preventing, analyzing, and reporting fraudulent activity across various systems and channels in an effort to reduce financial losses to the bank and its customers.

The minimum qualifications for the position are:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years financial institution deposit operations experience
• Intermediate knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
• Excellent understanding of computers and terminology
• Professional presence and attitude, good professional judgment and an analytical mind
• Effective organizational, time management, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team

In addition to the minimum requirements listed above, the qualifications listed below are generally preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
