Prevention Program Manager
About the Position: : The individual selected for this position will work in the Prevention Division Central Office located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services. This position will work under general supervision of the Sr. Prevention Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and implement programs including the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for the prevention and early intervention of alcohol, drug abuse, and/or other medical, mental, or personal struggles for students in K-12 schools. This position also will develop, and manage sub-recipient contracts, ensure program requirements are met, develop funding proposals and reports, and supervise staff.
This position should have a basic understanding primary prevention, the Oklahoma Prevention Needs Assessment (OPNA), and program evaluation. The incumbent will assure compliance with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health Services and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) standards and best practice requirements in managing and delivering care in programs.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in public health, social work, psychology, or a related field and five years of program management experience or any related experience to include two years of supervisory experience and one-year budget oversight experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience managing complex initiatives in education – K-12 preferred.
NOTE: No substitution for bachelor’s degree or the required two years of supervisory experience and one-year budget oversight experience.
