Fraud Prevention Manager jobs in Winston Salem, NC

Fraud Prevention Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the detection, prevention, and mitigation of fraudulent transactions. Develops cross-functional initiatives to proactively detect and prevent fraud from occurring. Being a Fraud Prevention Manager approves and implements recommendations for process and procedure improvements. Reviews and implements best practices in the fraud prevention industry. Additionally, Fraud Prevention Manager ensures compliance with all relevant anti-fraud regulations and standards. Creates reports outlining trends, risks, and mitigation strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Fraud Prevention Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Fraud Prevention Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Infection Preventionist Nurse is a professional nurse who plans, coordinates, and implements Infection Prevention activities.  The Infection Preventionist Nurse collaborates with members of the health care team and is responsible for administering and maintaining an effective, efficient Infection Prevention program.

    Education and Formal Training: Current valid RN license with BSN required  and a Master’s in Public Health preferred. Association for Practitioners in Infection Control (APIC) certification required or must achieve within 90 days of meeting criteria for certification.

    Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in a hospital setting or disease surveillance experience in a public health setting. Experience with nosocomial surveillance preferred

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Computer skills, research and basic statistical abilities required in order to record, track and trend data for presentations. Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance and an even temperament when dealing with people. Ability to use tact, sensitivity, sound judgment, and a professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and co-workers at all times. Must develop knowledge of current hospital emergency policies and procedures, fire, safety, disaster, and infection preventive policies.
