Fraud Prevention Supervisor supervises fraud detection associates in their effort to identify and prevent future fraud. Leads cross-functional initiatives to proactively detect and prevent fraud from occurring. Being a Fraud Prevention Supervisor regularly reviews the team's work product and makes recommendations as needed. Researches, documents, and implements best practices in the fraud prevention industry. Additionally, Fraud Prevention Supervisor analyzes current processes and procedures and makes recommendations to promote more effective operations. Provides training and guidance to new employees. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Fraud Prevention Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Fraud Prevention Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.   • We are currently seeking an individual to facilitate the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP). This program is designed to assist in making lifestyle changes for preventing or delaying type 2 diabetes and provide support and guidance to participants and other instructors in both programs.

    Preferably, we are looking for someone who will be our community liaison and find a space where the program can be offered. If you help us with the outreach and compensation, you will be reimbursed for these efforts as well. There is room for growth in this position.

    Qualifications:
    1. Be a Certified Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Lifestyle Coach
    2. Be able to foster a culture that celebrates excellence, honors compassion, strives for service to others in a respectful manner, seeks constant growth, and learns from mistakes.
    3. Be committed to assisting patients in implementing lifestyle changes to prevent the onset of diabetes.
    4. Be able to lead and work in a team environment with other lifestyle coaches and staff.
    5. Be able to utilize basic computer skills for data collection and reporting.
    6. Good physical health and ability to lift objects not exceeding 10-20 pounds.
    7. Preferably bilingual (Spanish and English).

    Duties:
    ❏ Facilitate sessions over the course of the 1-year program
    ❏ Create an environment that is motivating, supportive, non-competitive, and non-judgmental
    ❏ Continually reinforce and integrate session material, build on concepts by referring back to previous sessions and discussions
    ❏ Promote group discussion whenever possible and appropriate
    ❏ Engage group dynamics to build accountability among participants
    ❏ Support participants by providing information, encouraging progress, and working with the group to address challenges or barriers that arise
    ❏ Encourage goal setting every week
    ❏ Make learning a shared responsibility for the group
    ❏ Prepare for each session
    ❏ Maintain high standards and expectations of self and participants including attendance, starting on time, weekly weigh-ins, self-monitoring, and problem-solving
    ❏ Be accessible to participants before and after sessions to answer questions and follow up on any questions that cannot be answered during class time
    ❏ Follow-up with participants outside of class if they are unable to attend a class
    ❏ Record weekly data for each participant for submission to the DPRP

    Job Types: Part-time, Contract

    Pay: From $45.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 1 – 4 per week
