Fraud Prevention Supervisor supervises fraud detection associates in their effort to identify and prevent future fraud. Leads cross-functional initiatives to proactively detect and prevent fraud from occurring. Being a Fraud Prevention Supervisor regularly reviews the team's work product and makes recommendations as needed. Researches, documents, and implements best practices in the fraud prevention industry. Additionally, Fraud Prevention Supervisor analyzes current processes and procedures and makes recommendations to promote more effective operations. Provides training and guidance to new employees. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Fraud Prevention Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Fraud Prevention Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.   • About the role:

    The Fraud Investigator is responsible for conducting investigations into suspected fraud committed against the supported client(s) and it's customers. This includes, but is not limited to, proactive discovery of potential fraud through in-depth analysis of account activity, running reports, and responding to reported claims of fraud. This position is based out of New Braunfels but will also require you to work from home at times.

    Your Fraud Investigator day-to-day will involve:
    • Reviewing and investigating reports of suspected fraudulent activity
    • Using data analysis techniques, critical thinking, and pattern detection to uncover fraudulent activity
    • Gathering information and documentation from customers and/or internal sources
    • Remediating and correcting activity that is deemed fraudulent
    • Documenting the rationale and determination for each report and referring to other departments where necessary
    • Follow up with customers and/or internal contacts during the investigation.
    • Ensure confidentiality of all information collected during investigation
    • Assist with the implementation of new processes and procedures

    • Proficiency with data analysis techniques
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop productive working relationships
    • Resourceful, persistent, and self-driven with the ability to maintain high level production.

    • Exceptional communication skills, analytical skills, and strong attention to detail
    • Experience in Microsoft and G-Suite tools, such as Excel
    • Creative Problem Solving abilities
    • Mac OS experience
