Front Desk Clerk, Sr. - Casino interacts with the customer to ensure that guest check-in, check-out, and billing are carried out efficiently. Answers questions about the facility's policies and services. Being a Front Desk Clerk, Sr. - Casino makes advance reservations and handles special requests. Issues invoices and collects room fees. Additionally, Front Desk Clerk, Sr. - Casino handles or appropriately escalates customer service issues. Performs administrative duties such as answering phones, cleaning work space, and assisting managers and supervisors as needed. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Front Desk Clerk, Sr. - Casino works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. - Answers guest questions regarding facility and surrounding area
- Acts as a sales member for promotion of internal events, dining and packages
- Promotes outstanding customer relations
Job Specifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year prior experience in guest service capacity
- Excellent guest service skills; attentive and detail oriented
- Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with both guests and co-workers
- Must have basic math skills with the ability to accurately handle cash and process sales transactions
- Prior computer experience with Microsoft office and e-mail, point of sale system experience preferred
- Ability to create a positive and upbeat work environment
Physical Demands
This is a sedentary position, and ergonomic workstation and frequent breaks will be provided.
