Put your management and precision paint expertise to work in the marine industry at Front Street Shipyard. We’re seeking a manager for our busy paint department. The right candidate will have extensive experience with marine paint systems and applications, including brush and spray. Sanding, fairing, and paint prep is as critical as the applications. The new paint department manager will have the expertise to direct major projects effectively, including yachts up to 200 feet long as well as smaller parts and spars.

The paint department manager will oversee an entire team of painters and application technicians who are working on multiple projects all the time. This position is suited to a dependable, level-headed manager who can offer his/her team members one-on-one guidance as well as collective direction. Estimating and purchasing are daily tasks, as well as written and verbal communication with customers. Knowledge of and a commitment to regulatory and safety guidelines are critical.
