Hotel Front Desk Manager

DES MOINES, IOWA HOTEL

Tuesday - Saturday 3-11 pm

Essential Duties include:

• Oversee front desk operations and guests' satisfaction.
• Training employees to help them reach their highest potential.
• Ensuring the right people are in the right places. Holding them accountable for results and rewarding them accordingly.
• Carrying out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and programs.
• Ensure compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations.
• Energizing and motivating employees to support a culture of openness, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

The right candidate must be able to successfully perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. • Candidates with three years of experience in different roles within hotel staff and management are preferred.
• Must be available to work extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledgeable in various software applications (MSWord, Excel, Outlook, Quickbooks, Hotel PMS).
• Committed to a collaborative approach that enables continual development of cost-saving ideas.
• Must maintain professional appearance on hotel premises at all times
• Strong oral and written communication skills a must.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
