The Front Desk Manager ensures that every guest receives exceptional service by supporting operations, collaborating with team members, and interfacing with our guests in person, over the phone, and online. Successful candidates are outgoing, highly organized, detail oriented with extensive customer service experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a combination of:

• Hospitality or Related Industry Management
• Customer Service
• Business Operations
• Sales and Marketing

Must be able to work a combination of weekday and weekend evening shifts, with occasional morning shifts

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Guest Experience:

• Oversee day to day operations during Manager on Duty shifts
• Ensure an excellent guest experience by welcoming guests, responding to guest needs, and meeting all requests in a timely and courteous fashion
• Support the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams as needed
• Listen to each guest to understand the goals of their visit and find ways to exceed their expectations

Front Desk Operations:

• Manage reservations for guests over the phone and in person
• Utilize internal software to manage tasks and communicate with the team and our guests
• Answer inquiries over the phone and online
• Ensure the smooth operation and guest access to our canteen, fire pits, hot tubs and sauna
• Support the work of the Housekeeping and Maintenance Teams as needed

Entrepreneurial Leadership Team:

• Participate as a member of the leadership team to brainstorm, plan and implement innovative ways to grow and improve the business
• Nurture and role model an employee culture of competence, high standards and mutual respect
• Assist in marketing initiatives and social media content ideation and creation
• Promote and embody the Blue Vista culture of operational excellence, genuine personal interactions and a dedication to creating memorable experiences to each and every guest

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Every weekend

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Hospitality or related industry management: 2 years (Required)
