Front Desk Manager - Casino manages front desk personnel for a casino and ensures quality customer service. Oversees the daily service operations for hotel rooms and the execution of contracts, deposits, and billing. Being a Front Desk Manager - Casino may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to the Front Office Manager. The Front Desk Manager - Casino supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Job Specifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year prior experience in guest service capacity
- Excellent guest service skills; attentive and detail oriented
- Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with both guests and co-workers
- Must have basic math skills with the ability to accurately handle cash and process sales transactions
- Prior computer experience with Microsoft office and e-mail, point of sale system experience preferred
- Ability to create a positive and upbeat work environment
Physical Demands
This is a sedentary position, and ergonomic workstation and frequent breaks will be provided.
