Claremont Manor Retirement Community is recruiting for a full time Sales and Marketing Manger, for our 59-bed skilled nursing facility.
Under the direction of the Executive Director/Administrator and/or D.O.N., provides support and coordination of Care Center admissions, prospect information, marketing events, lead generation, advertising and accommodation preparation by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Coordinates new resident admissions with outside referral agencies, hospitals, discharge planners, admissions personnel and nursing staff. Regularly meets with physicians, physician office staff, hospital social workers, discharge planning staff and others to assist in ensuring the smooth transition of residents needing services. Arranges pre-admissions data and transition while potential residents are still in the acute hospital setting. Works with IPAs, HMOs and third-party referral agencies including hospice providers.
Gives Care Center tours to prospective residents, physicians, family members and others.
Assists in coordination of marketing events, advertising and direct mail campaigns aimed at Care Center admissions.
Assists with coordination of intra-facility resident transfers under the direction of the Sales & Marketing Director, Executive Director/Administrator and/or D.O.N.
Spends a minimum of 24 hours per week outside of the Care Center calling on designated and potential referral sources for lead generation.
Tracks and provides reports on trends, admissions, discharges and marketing.
Follows and ensures department safety standards, practice body mechanic techniques and participate in campus-wide safety programs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS
Nursing experience at the LVN level or higher preferred. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a 4-year college or university; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. California Drivers’ License and vehicle required.
