Job Summary:
We are a small dental practice seeking an experienced Office Manager / Front Desk Receptionist to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a dental setting with skills including, but not limited to, dental terminology, dental insurance, and patient scheduling.
Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate all administrative duties in the office.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Maintain accurate patient records and files.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Schedule patient appointments based on provider availability.
- Coordinate office maintenance and repairs as needed
- Utilize various software systems such as Eaglesoft, DS Core, and other dental office management software
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role in a dental or medical setting.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., MS Office Suite)
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday 7:30am-4pm
- Optional Friday hours if desired to work on insurance claims or office cleaning duties.
