The Front desk Manager is responsible for ensuring the operation of the Front Desk and Guest Services in an attentive, friendly, efficient, and courteous manner, providing all guests with quality service prior to and throughout their stay, while over seeing the front desk staff.
Responsibilities:
· Respond to all guest requests, problems, complaints, and surveys.
· Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all front desk staff according to policies and procedures.
· Prepare and conduct all interviews and follow hiring procedures.
· In sure proper training of all front desk staff.
· Operate all aspects of the Front Desk office computer systems.
· Responsible for filling in for call offs.
· Focus the front desk on the role in contributing to the Guest Service Scores.
· Maintain required stock of all office supplies.
· Review front desk logbook and Guest Request logs daily.
· Conduct staff meetings on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
· Supervisory Experience required of at least 1 year.
· Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
· Able to work long hours as sometimes required.
· Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
· Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
· Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
· Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
