Position: Front Desk Staff
Reports To: Office Manager
Purpose: The Front Desk Staff will be responsible for different receptionist and clerical duties. Some of the duties include answering questions, offering customer support, and guiding and advising members/guests. As a YMCA staff, you should promote the mission and philosophies of the Y while assisting our members/guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet, communicate with, and welcome members/guest
- Answer all questions and address complaints
- Answer all incoming calls, and redirect them when needed
- Sign up members/guests for membership or programs
- Receive letters, and packages and send them to the appropriate destination
- Report in a timely manner
- Maintain an appropriate, professional appearance.
Hours: Monday and Tuesday 5:00-9:00 PM
Availability to cover other shifts if neededJob Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.50 - $9.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
