Comfort Inn and Suites Morehead, KY is actively seeking a front desk attendant to cover 2nd shift from 3pm-11pm as well as some split shifts that start at Noon- 8pm. Expected to cover shifts if there is a need in any emergency situations for any shift including the Night Audit Shift (11pm-7am). Employees will be trained in the Breakfast also as they are expected to help out in that area when needed. The breakfast hours are 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm which include providing all guest with a hot breakfast & maintaining good communication & customer service to all guest during breakfast hours & all clean up & prep afterwards. All Employees must be willing to work holidays, weekends & big event dates in our area as these are the busiest dates in our hospitality business. All Applicants must be 100% dependable with dependable transportation, respectful to others at all times and willing to work in a team setting. All Employees must be capable of operating an online billing system in which training is provided, must have exceptional people skills & willing to learn the position. This job position includes taking phone calls, booking reservations, solving billing issues, resolving guest complaints, laundry duties, keeping our hotel clean at all times, learning & following Choice Hotels rules of operation & following the Brand standards placed by Choice at all times. This position can result in a very professional letter of recommendation being written & sent from the Owner for the employees who have worked hard & exceeded expectations. This position will result in employees creating meaningful relationships with all guests while maintaining complete professionalism and representing Choice Hotels exceptionally. The 90 day trial and training should be taken seriously and professionally at all times with All Choice Online training completed within the 90 days. After the 90 days are up A performance review will be done and we will together decide to continue and what we should work on going forward. Within the 90 days any employee can be dismissed for any reason.
