Join The Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center’s stellar Front Office team to provide lasting impressions on new and repeat guests. Support the Front Office Manager in directing the daily operations at the desk: overseeing front desk attendants, guest services, night audit, pbx and security. Assist with the hiring, training and evaluation of staff as well as scheduling. Help plan and prepare for upcoming groups and special events and assist with additional administrative tasks as needed. Ensure all cash, check, credit card or other accounts are processed correctly and every employee and shift balances. Respond to guest requests and/or concerns professionally and positively and follow through to assure guest satisfaction. Continually improve communication and service at the desk in all forms and model high standards and a positive demeanor for employees. Serve as a support to all staff in their performance and growth. Requires energy, enthusiasm for guest interaction, attention to detail, organization and multi-tasking.
