Seeking a hospitality professional with a positive can-do attitude who creates a friendly, "welcome to my home" atmosphere. This team member will lead our front office operations to maximize team member potential while ensuring 100% guest satisfaction. To provide guidance and leadership by offering support and manpower to the Front Desk and Night Audit positions. To make sure that proper policies and procedures are followed, and that the Hotel is in compliance with owner and franchise requirements. To be responsible for maximizing Hotel profits, achieving set budgets and maintaining projected labor budgets for entire Front Office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Supervises the front office functions and guide our front office team members. We appreciate our team members!
· Assume responsibility for staffing, scheduling, training, and motivating.
· Manages room rates to maximize profits and maintain guest satisfaction by making sure that the Front Office is quoting and charging the proper rates.
· Works closely with the housekeeping department to coordinate rooms reservations, special requests and check-ins/check-out in a timely manner.
· Make our guests feel warmly welcomed. Resolving their concerns or complaints.
· Assumes role of Manager on Duty as scheduled.
· Ensures all franchise rules and regulations are followed.
· Works any one of three shifts, but primarily 2nd shift, including weekends and holidays.
· Perform the duties of Accounts Receivable, keeping are direct billing current and accounts within 30 days.
· Performs all other duties at the request of the General Manager.
· Regular Attendance is necessary to complete Essential Functions.
EDUCATION/TRAINING
Basic academic education (high school diploma or equivalent)
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of one year specialized supervisory experience required in the hospitality industry. Two years of experience serving guests at hotel front desk.
EOE. Post-Offer Background Check and Drug Screening (marijuana excluded from testing) Required.
