We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Office Manager. As the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations at the front desk of our hotel. This is a key role in providing exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest inquiries
- Train and supervise front desk staff to ensure excellent customer service
- Manage room reservations and ensure accurate billing
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to address guest needs
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct night audits to reconcile daily transactions and prepare reports for management
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for guests
- Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations throughout the hotel
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Fluent in multiple languages is a plus (Bilingual)
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is an asset
