The award-winning Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls are hiring a Front Office Reservations Specialist. This person must be outgoing and friendly. They must work well in a team setting but are able to make decisions and stay motivated without much supervision. Must be detail-oriented.

$12 - $13 hourly

• Take phone reservations for lodging, spa, and dining
• Give guests directions, and recommendations for activities, and give general area information
• Check guests in and out
• Ring up sales in the gift shop
• Keep gift shop clean
• Sort through incoming mail and deliver it to the designated area

• Must be outgoing and friendly both in person and on the phone
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Must be able to work daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays but- the schedule rotates and is very fair
• Must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check
• A hotel or customer service experience is helpful
• Customer empathy. You empathize with customers and seek to solve problems from their perspective
• Enjoy being in a dynamic job where no task is above or below you
• Being able to arrive at work on time

Our company has been in operation for 34 years. We are a full-service Inn with Geodomes, Cottages, Yurts, Cabins, and Lodges. We also have an onsite restaurant where we serve breakfast daily to all guests for free. We are open for lunch in the peak season (May through October) and are open for dinner nightly. We have a spa where visitors can get massages, spa facials, scrubs, wraps, etc.
