Fundraising Coordinator jobs in Indianapolis, IN
Fundraising Coordinator coordinates operations to execute an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, and capital development initiatives supporting short- and long-term organizational revenue objectives. Supports donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors and corporate or governmental partnerships. Being a Fundraising Coordinator plans events and develops communications to increase donor engagement. Uses a donor database and software tools to produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Additionally, Fundraising Coordinator may participate in the grant writing and proposal process. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Fundraising Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Summary ~ The Outreach Associate is responsible for providing public presentations, coordinating volunteers, organizing fundraising events, and developing supply donations as part of the Development Department team.
Essential Functions:
- · Provide initial response to volunteer and donation calls/inquiries (including receiving “meals” and “donate” emails as well as community service volunteers.
- Maintain meal schedule on monthly basis, communicate with volunteers and internal partners regarding meal service expectations.
- · Maintain agency volunteer schedule (non-meal) and provide instruction/supervision for these tasks or collaborate with program staff for coordination/coverage;
- · Coordinate with community on supply drives throughout the year;
- · Coordinate with committee members and Development Officer on scheduling special events;
- · Direct all aspects of agency events;
- · Update agency blog, social media posts, and press releases.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
