Fundraising Coordinator coordinates operations to execute an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, and capital development initiatives supporting short- and long-term organizational revenue objectives. Supports donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors and corporate or governmental partnerships. Being a Fundraising Coordinator plans events and develops communications to increase donor engagement. Uses a donor database and software tools to produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Additionally, Fundraising Coordinator may participate in the grant writing and proposal process. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Fundraising Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Qualifications:

    • Excellent quantitative analytical skills
    • Keen business sense demonstrated in either a professional or academic environment
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, volunteers, donors, and prospective donors
    • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Great storytelling skills and strong public speaking skills

    • Ability to temporarily relocate for regional assignments may be required; relocation/travel limited to the following states: California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada

    Projects may include:

    • Developing work plans and materials for campaign planning studies and development assessments
    • Conducting analysis of our clients through review of fundraising performance and interviews with organization's executives, volunteer leaders, and donors
    • Preparing fundraising campaign materials, including strategic plans, operating materials, case statements, and major gift proposals
    • Conducting in-depth prospect research
    • Crafting individual cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies
    • Write and deliver high-impact presentations and materials
