Fundraising Director directs an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Leads donor stewardship and relations to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Fundraising Director researches and identifies potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Fundraising Director uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Fundraising Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Trinity Jubilee Center announces the opening of a campaign assistant position and is soliciting applications from qualified independent contractors. Trinity Jubilee Center is a secular community center offering five programs: a Meals Program, Food Pantry, Day Shelter, Resource Center, and Refugee Integration Program. More than 1,000 people are served by these programs every week.
In August 2024 the Center breaks ground on a new facility. 80% of the funding needed has been raised and this spring the Center enters a final fundraising push to raise the remaining funds. Under the direction of Trinity Jubilee Center’s executive director, the campaign assistant is responsible for keeping detailed records of donation data and assisting with the organization’s campaign communications and fundraising activities. This position offers a professional opportunity to help make this project a reality while enjoying a flexible schedule and mostly remote work.
