Fundraising Manager manages an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Implements donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Fundraising Manager works to develop potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Fundraising Manager uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Fundraising Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Fundraising Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Fundraising Coordinator is a part time position that involves a commitment of a few hours a week. You must be willing to join us at our monthly committee meetings at the Milltown Public Library at 10am on the Second Saturday of the Month. The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Development Associate with expanding the relationships between the organization and its donors in addition to conducting monthly fundraisers.Responsibilities:The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Development Associate with expanding the relationships between the organization and its donors in addition to conducting monthly fundraisers. The Fundraising Volunteer is responsible for assisting the Development Associate with the following tasks1. Seek out new and follow-up with potential and existing donors 2. Obtain non-monetary donations from businesses such as supplies and/or gift cards3. Develop and implement a system to acknowledge and reward donors 4. Assist our grant writer in researching and locating available grants5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor contact and biographical information6.
