Fundraising Manager manages an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Implements donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Fundraising Manager works to develop potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Fundraising Manager uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Position: Donations and Fundraising Manager
General Description:
The Donations and Fundraising Manager will be primarily responsible for planning and implementing Hudson River Housing’s fundraising strategies, events, and activities to generate funds for the organization’s annual operating needs and long-term sustainability.
Principal Duties:
Qualifications-
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of resource development and fundraising experience is required with proven track-record of success. Proficiency in fundraising software such as Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge, Microsoft Suites, and Adobe applications is required.
Education: BA/BS required in related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Licensing/Certification Requirements: Valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands: NA
Other: Strong communication and writing skills, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented a must. Competent knowledge of local community and data systems used by Hudson River Housing a plus. Must be adaptable to a high-pressure environment. Schedule generally Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm with occasional after-hours required to meet deadlines and event needs. May occasionally work remotely. Strong communication skills, ability to work both independently and as a member of a team, foresight, planning, flexibility/ability to multitask, basic math skills, and comfort with online systems.
Salary: $50,000-$60,000 annually
