Furnace Operator/Tender jobs in Allentown, PA

Production Helper to assist with manufacturing of aluminum powder.

STARTING RATE for Helper: 1st SHIFT $20.86; 2nd SHIFT $21.38; 3rd SHIFT $21.91

Job Responsibilities may include:

• Loading aluminum ingot into furnace
• Removing molten metal from furnace
• Screening & blending aluminum powder & tending blending towers
• Packing aluminum powder into 55 gal drums, Supersacs or railcars
• Moving packed material with forklift
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs
• Climbing 3 flights of stairs to blending towers multiple times during shift
• Housekeeping
• Exposure to year-round weather elements
• Must work 3 shift rotations (11-7; 3-11; 7-3) at 24/7 facility.

Manufacturing environment & Fork truck experience preferred, but willing to train dedicated individual.
