Furnace Operator/Tender sets-up, operates, maintains, and controls furnaces to melt metal to specified temperatures. Adjusts controls to regulate the furnace and to maintain specified temperature. Being a Furnace Operator/Tender requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Furnace Operator/Tender relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Furnace Line Operator - Afternoon or Midnight Shift
Job Description:- The primary function of furnace operator is to load material into continuous pusher style furnaces and also remove the material that comes out of the furnace.
- Once the material is out an evaluation of the electrical properties of the material must be conducted.

- Afternoon Shift (3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.) or Midnight Shift (11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)
Requirements:- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and follow assignments through to completion.
- Effective time management skills.
- Conscientiousness, punctuality, and dependability are essential.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Salary/Benefits:- Rate: $19 per hour.
- Shift Differential: $4 per hour.
