Location: Non-remote position in Mt. Hope, Ohio
Responsibilities:
· Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
· Engage with customers to understand their furniture needs and preferences, offering product recommendations and solutions accordingly.
· Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our furniture products, including features, benefits, and materials, to effectively communicate product information to customers.
· Assist customers in visualizing furniture arrangements and coordinating pieces to create cohesive design schemes.
· Guide customers through the sales process, including product selection and pricing.
· Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
· Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment, ensuring that furniture displays are well-presented and fully stocked.
· Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
· Stay informed about industry trends, new product arrivals, and promotions to effectively promote sales and provide customers with up-to-date information.
· Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
· Previous retail sales experience, preferably in the furniture or home decor industry.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships with customers and employees.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Knowledge of interior design principles and a passion for furniture and home decor.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
· Basic math skills and proficiency in using a point-of-sale system.
· Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
· Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
· Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or interior design is a plus.
