RESPONSIBILITIES:

• De-burr, file, sand, blend, and clean, components/parts in accordance with company quality and production standards.
• Perform assigned duties using manual, pneumatic and electric hand tools and machines;
• Manipulate work piece or tool manually;
• Develop and/or recommend techniques for Class A rework without fillers
• Inspect and measure work piece to verify conformance to specifications
• Work in a fast paced environment while keeping up with production demands
• Document daily rework according to company standard
• Promote all company policies and procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment according to 5S methods

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited learning institution.
• Ability to work with high turning, grinding and hand tools

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Automotive industry preferred;
• Previous automotive metal fabrication preferred;
• Experience with metal forming; preferred
• Previous welding experience preferred;
• Forklift experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

• Schedule: Day Shift.
• Assignment Start: ASAP
• Assignment End: 3 Month Project
