Furniture Finisher restores and preserves furniture using variety of hand and power tools. Applies knowledge of fabrics and wood furniture to complete projects. Being a Furniture Finisher may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Furniture Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We are looking for a full-time, long-term applicant that is looking for a career in manufacturing. The applicant will be responsible for using hands to buff, polish, de-burr and sharpen stainless steel parts using grinding wheels and belt sanders.Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pmCompensation: $20.00-21.00/hr. (Experience, skills, and knowledge will be taken into consideration and adjusted accordingly)
