Furniture Finisher restores and preserves furniture using variety of hand and power tools. Applies knowledge of fabrics and wood furniture to complete projects. Being a Furniture Finisher may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Furniture Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.     Summary:

    In this position you will be required to perform a variety of tasks including forming, placing, finishing, protecting, repairing concrete and tying rebar.   
        
    Requirements:    
    • Uses a variety of craft techniques and all tools pertaining to the trade, including placing and finishing the concrete.
    • Operates hand saws, heavy and light equipment, skid steer, trucks, backhoe, and forklift
    • Operates air compressors, jackhammers, rotary-operated sump pumps, and tampers, including all hand tools.
    • Services and makes minor repairs in the maintenance of equipment.
    • Layout foundations of off baseline/centerlines with theodolite.
    • Installs rebar and anchor bolt installation, form setting, placing, and finishing concrete.
    • Assists all crafts as necessary in a variety of other tasks, as assigned.
    • Experience in pier drilling and foundation excavation is a plus.
    • Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
    • Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
    • Presents, supports, and leads by example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
    • Available for mandatory overtime on a weekly basis.
    Qualifications:  
    • High School Diploma/GED Preferred.
    • 2 years of heavy construction experience.
    • Drug testing and background investigation required.
    • Available for mandatory overtime on a weekly basis.
    • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment associated with the concrete trade.
    • Familiarity with safety rules, OSHA, and first aid procedures.
    • Have a valid driver license with a clean driving record.
    • Must be willing to travel 75-100%.
    Anticipated Salary Range: $22.00 - $27.00    
      
    The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.   
       
    Per Diem of $100.00 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation.
