Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to concrete finishing and construction. This is a hands-on role that requires experience and expertise in working with concrete and related materials.Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning, leveling, and setting up forms
- Mix concrete materials using a concrete mixer
- Pour and spread concrete to desired thickness and level
- Use power tools and hand tools to shape, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces
- Apply curing compounds or sealants to protect finished surfaces
- Repair damaged or cracked concrete using appropriate techniques
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work areaSkills:
- Proficiency in working with power tools, including concrete mixers, saws, and grinders
- Knowledge of frame carpentry and the ability to build forms for pouring concrete
- Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques
- Basic welding skills for minor repairs or modifications
- Experience in concrete finishing, including techniques such as troweling, brooming, or stamping
- Valid commercial driver's license for transporting equipment or materials (preferred)
