Furniture Finisher jobs in High Point, NC

Job Summary: The finisher is responsible for preparing raw wood, accurately mixing and applying water-based stain, basecoat, and sealer to wood frames to achieve correct appearance per color standard. Must maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Functions:

· Ability to read and interpret production tickets.

· Ability to accurately mix different types of finish according to color standards.

· Ability to use a sander and sprayer.

· Time management skills

Required Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Minimum of one year of experience in related field

· Must be 18 years of age

Work Environment: While performing this job, the employee is frequently exposed to airborne dust particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud, hearing protection is provided.

Physical Demands: The position requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, frequent lifting, pushing and pulling objects up to 50 pounds or heavier.

The company provides safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves and masks. It is mandatory that safety devices be worn during working hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
