Job Summary

As a Factory Service Center Aircraft Exterior Finisher, you will work from an assigned Factory Service Center performing aircraft scheduled and unscheduled Exterior Finishing duties as assigned.

All work will be performed and documented in compliance with reference to the appropriate technical data including manuals, standard operating procedures and regulations as required.

Working conditions include occasional travel and semi - frequent face to face contact with Owners and Operators.

The shift for this position is Mon-Thurs 3pm-130am

Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Adhere to Cirrus Aircraft Standard Operating Procedures
• Comply with environmental health / safety policies and procedures
• Maintain the highest levels of professionalism in conduct and appearance while representing Cirrus Aircraft.
• Observe & maintain all requirements & criteria set forth by the Cirrus Part 145 Repair Station Manual.
• Read and understand maintenance manuals and other technical documents and identify repair procedure Review and research aircraft recordsEvaluate & interpret aircraft dataComposite preparationSurface filler preparation and shapingSanding and buffingAdding vinyl stripingLaying and smoothing sealantsPrimer applicationDetailing Interior / Exterior of AircraftRegular, reliable, and predictable attendance
• Assist, support and participate in Factory Service Center indirect activities such as moving aircraft, shop projects, and continuous improvement projects as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED required; one to twelve months’ related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
