Furniture Finisher restores and preserves furniture using variety of hand and power tools. Applies knowledge of fabrics and wood furniture to complete projects. Being a Furniture Finisher may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Furniture Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. PURPOSE
Serves as the Drywall Finisher for assigned department. Reports timely to project leader on site and performs tasks as needed/assigned. Adheres to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Travels between job sites as needed.
