Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to concrete surfaces, ensuring they are smooth, level, and visually appealing. Your expertise in concrete work will contribute to the successful completion of various construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning and leveling the area
- Set up forms and ensure they are properly aligned
- Pour concrete into forms and spread it evenly using various tools
- Smooth and level the surface using trowels, screeds, and floats
- Create desired textures and patterns on the surface using specialized tools
- Apply curing compounds or sealants to protect the concrete
- Repair any imperfections or cracks in the concrete
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
- Strong knowledge of concrete mixing ratios and finishing techniques
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment related to concrete work
- Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints for accurate installation
- Familiarity with tile laying, stucco application, and other construction techniques is a plus
- Basic understanding of construction estimating to assist with material calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials as needed
