Furniture Finisher restores and preserves furniture using variety of hand and power tools. Applies knowledge of fabrics and wood furniture to complete projects. Being a Furniture Finisher may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Furniture Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. - Engaged with Property Management ; Building Leadership ; Employees on life safety systems & procedures
- Assemble furniture & equipment / hang pictures & whiteboards
- Work with Executive Assistance and building occupants on office needs
- Furniture/Equipment Changes & Relocation
- Manage Office Equipment
- Outside Tradesmen for specialized trade needs
- On call to support Building Leadership
- Manage equipment & supply deliveries and distribution
- Restock conference & office supplies including pens/paper pads/soda/water
- Assist Employees that are relocating To/From office
- Provide boxes ; labels ; manpower to facilitate
- Ability to use hand tools
