Company in Fenton, MI is seeking a detail oriented person to work in their Finishing Department. This company manufactures custom labels, tags, decals, and functional film components for automotive, mobility, electronics, health technology, industrial and consumer goods sectors.

shift finisher, $13.50 to train on 1

shift, then when move to 2

shift with premium $.75 / hour

Full time pay $13.50 sitting all day, 8 hour shifts, some OT possible,

Specific Responsibilities include the following :

• Runs jobs according to assigned schedule
• Uses appropriate paperwork to record and provide evidence of finished parts according to internal and customer specifications
• Packs and labels shipments and moves to shipping as assigned
• Notifies press of any evidence of nonconforming product

Measures of Performance :

• Prescribed number of rolls completed per day
• Number of sales orders completed per day according to goal set
• Zero errors in identification of product

Key Competencies, Knowledge and Skills :

• Ability to move and lift 40 or more pounds at intervals throughout each day
• Good basic math skills
• Basic keyboarding skills
• Focused and organized; very neat
• Desire to succeed in a culture of teamwork and accountability

Job Description :

Practices safe work habits according to documented finishing practices.

Maintains an organized work space daily, including cleaning table surfaces and

proactively moving materials and carts for optimum use of space.

Completes jobs , including documentations of appropriate inspections according to work

instructions.

Works closely with press operators to produce product with zero defects.

Notifies quality in the event that any nonconforming condition occurs. Initiates and

contains any product that may jeopardize customer satisfaction . Fills out appropriate paperwork for containment activities.

Submits material requisition forms for any supplies required to minimize downtime and assure efficiency.

Works with team members to accomplish goals and to recommend improvements in both product and process.

Other requirements :

High school diploma or GED

Eye for detail, positive attitude, willingness to learn
