Furniture Finisher restores and preserves furniture using variety of hand and power tools. Applies knowledge of fabrics and wood furniture to complete projects. Being a Furniture Finisher may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Furniture Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Duties:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Conduct sales transactions and process payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales area
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
Qualifications:
- Prior furniture sales experience is preferred but not required
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to work a flexible retail schedule (Weekends a must, includes evenings)
